The musical style of the band, journalists often defined as folk-rock. Of course, this is very conditional. And the musicians themselves have repeatedly rejected this label. "Kalinov Most", as any truly creative and original artist, does not fit into any known style, and if they give their songs definition, only "kalinovomostovskie." Or simply "tracks." But it all started with this Siberian rock. If anyone could rightly be called, it is the "Kalinov Most" 1986-1989 sample period. In memory of this period were live recordings - albums "should have", "Outlaws". With this program, the group made a splash at the famous rock festival Podolsky ("Soviet Woodstock") in 1987.
"Kalinov Most" - one of the few groups that can rightfully be named "Legends of Russian rock." And even among the few groups - it is very special. Especially mysterious, legendary and even mythological. First, the mythological name of the group itself - "Kalinov Most". Equally serious, the symbolic name is not, perhaps, no one else from the well-known domestic rock bands. In Russian folk tales Kalinov Most (incandescent, fire bridge) - the place of the hero of the battle with the evil spirit. It is a symbol of the struggle between good and evil, with the decisive moment of the struggle. And it is important that he, Dmitry Revyakin, who, as befits a true poet, is very attentive to the Word, aware of the responsibility accepted group name. At various points in the history of this group of multi-valued symbol refracted its different facets. And was called "the Indian goddess of death (dissolution) Kali" and "lower solar cycle," and "the struggle with oneself", and in general any time of initiation, the transition from one state to another. Who offers Revjakin understand "Kalinov Most" as "a bridge from atheism to God".
Although the band loudly declared itself already in 1986-87. The first studio album "Vyvoroten" (outside back) came out in 1990. And there was not a single (!) Of the songs that already bring glory to the group. This is the second mystery. The songs were not just different, but completely different poetics, it is unclear how the author came to the (D. At the same time the album's sound is very different. Soft, semi-acoustic "Uzaren" (enlightenment) and rigid, electric "Darza" (call boldness). It turned out to be a long and difficult work on the album "Ulchis Belt" (Y - movement, A - Love B - honor - the path to harmony of people). Recorded participated a record number of guest musicians - and what! Sergei Voronov, Inna wish, Vadim Golutvin Alexander Chinenkov Sergey Mazaev - present constellation names. "Belt Ulchis" still remains one of the most beautiful and interesting entries in the national rock music. But relationships are complicated by the group itself. In the summer of 1994, a group "DDT", concerned about the state of half-life, which for nearly two years remained "KM", will organize a joint action in support of the "Bridge" - great concerts in St. Petersburg and Moscow. However, the path of legends and the development of the myth did not end there. The group met again in 1997. And in 1998 recorded the album "Weapons" (Oratov - plow plow Zycie - live). Important for "Kalinov Most" milestone was the release of a stern and fierce, trilleropodobnogo album "Eskhata" (2010) ("eschato" - the root of the word "eschatology" - the doctrine of the end times), two songs from that first time in the history of the band for many weeks headed lyrics -parad "Chart Dozen" on "Nashe Radio". "Kalinov Most" offers is a look at the last days not in terms of funky disasters layman, but from the point of view of the soldiers, knights of faith who understand what is happening around, do not accept surrounding the collapse, ready to face up to a cleansing storm, and even cry out the words of the Apocalypse and one of the songs: "Come, Day of Anger!".
